Fragrance Scout is a free tool that helps you find the cheapest fragrance samples and decants online. We compare prices across top U.S. stores, factor in shipping, and show you the best deal — so you know exactly what you'll pay before you buy.
How does pricing work?
Every price you see includes an estimate of shipping costs, so you're comparing apples to apples. No surprises at checkout.
Is Fragrance Scout free to use?
Yes, completely free. We don't charge fees or require an account.
Can I add multiple fragrances at once?
Yes — that's one of the core features. Add everything you want to try to your list and we'll calculate the cheapest way to buy it all, accounting for each store's shipping costs.
Do I buy through Fragrance Scout?
No — we find the best deal and send you directly to the retailer's website to complete your purchase. We never handle payment or personal information.
How do you make money?
We earn revenue through affiliate commissions, ads, and sponsorships. When you click through to a retailer, we may earn a small commission on your purchase. None of this ever influences our results or affects the price you pay — we always show you the lowest price, regardless of which store it comes from.
What stores do you compare?
We currently compare samples and decants from a selection of top U.S. decant retailers. We're always working to add more.
What's the difference between a sample and a decant?
A decant is a small amount of fragrance transferred from a full bottle into a smaller vial or bottle. A sample is typically a smaller, pre-packaged tester — sometimes provided by the brand itself. Both let you try a fragrance before committing to a full bottle.
Why do some fragrances have more options than others?
Availability depends on what each store carries. Some niche or newer fragrances may only be stocked by one or two retailers, while popular ones are widely available.
How often are prices updated?
Prices and availability are refreshed regularly from each store. That said, we recommend confirming the final price on the retailer's site before completing your purchase.
